Statistics compiled by Joy Valentine, a Los Altos California real estate broker, found in two studies conducted on 3000 homes in all price ranges that homes staged on average brought more money that those not staged. Both times her analysis found that the staged home sold in about half the time as its non-staged counterpart. The Denver Post, July 27, 2004
